1st Annual Autism Awareness Walk
April 18, 2009
Christina and Robert Hendrickson, parents of Caleb and Joshua, lead the speakers at the rally and relate their struggles with autism, while extending a hand to help others in understanding and dealing with this affliction that now is diagnosed in 1 in every 100 children. Joining them is Michael Raphael (far right), an adult autistic who relates his experiences in helping parents understand what their children are going through.
** Caleb's Eyes would like to thank Frontier Communications and all its wonderful employess; Price Chopper of Norwich; NAPA of Norwich; and all those who gave to help make this Autism Awareness Walk possible! Thank you to all those who participated, and a special thank you to Mayor Joseph Maiurano for taking the time out of his busy schedule to lead the walk!

Look for future announcements here as we strive to make this walk and rally an annual event! "Autism Speaks - It's Time To Listen!"
